WE NEED YOUR HELP!
I am writing you this email because someone needs our help and is to proud to ask for it themselves.
For the past 6 years we have had a cleaning lady come to our house occasionally. She is a lovely sincere mother of three wonderful children. Two our in grade school and the other is in need of some help.
Sandra Prado is the name of the mother and her oldest child Anna is the one who needs help. We have known Anna since she was 12 years old because she would help her mother clean our house. She happens to be an extremely bright child and is the apple of her mothers eye.
We watched her go through high school where she astonished all of us and graduated with honors at the top of her class. While her teenage friends were off dancing the night away she was home reading and studying.
Her goal was to become a DOCTOR and her parents as well as my wife and I encouraged her and helped her through many hard times. Soon after her graduation she was awarded a scholarship to attend the esteemed University Of Davis to pursue her studies and one day become a doctor.
At the end of the month she will have completed her first year but it has been a very rough ride for many reasons. Not only did she just catch a terrible case of walking pneumonia but she also acquired a bad wrist problem while working to pay her own way through school for minimum wage at Starbucks. It actually got to the point where she could not hold a pencil to take notes in class. Worried to death that she would not be able to keep up her 4.0 grade average, she struggled against all odds and managed to complete her first year. She is now recovering from the pneumonia and wrist problem and was let go by Starbucks because of her inability to maintain their required work load.
Her parents are doing everything they can to help her financially but cleaning floors doesn't leave much for Anna and makes for a hardship on the rest of the family.
As it turns out, I ended up prying this information from Anna and soon discovered things are so bad that she barely has enough money for food let alone books, transportation, and all of the financially draining necessities that her scholarship does not cover.
As a member of this great United States Of America that all to often classifies help and charity with hand outs, I for one have decided to take it upon myself with the help of my wife Sharron to get this girl back on her feet and help her get started on her next year at UCDavis.
My wife and I are seeking investments (not charity or hand outs) that will help this girl become a doctor and a benefit to our society. We are now trying to at least get her books for next semester paid for and get her some money for food and transportation.
If you would like to invest in this wonderful opportunity to make a real positive difference, please call me or send a check in accordance with the information below. I will add your name if you like to our web site we are setting up for Anna so that you may be a part of this effort.
Weather you help out or not, please forward this message to someone you know. We need all the help we can get.
